Who We Are
We are a band made up six musicians.
Everyone in the group has been playing
for at least 25+ years. The core group
that is Lenny (Lead Vocals), Dave
(Lead Guitar and Harp) and Mark
(Drums and any other thing he can beat
on) have been together for 35 years,
that's three years short of the age of the
bass player!! These three guys make
up the direction and the heartbeat of the
7th Avenue Band. Lenny has been
singing in metro Detroit for 35 years.
His ability to sing songs from the 50's to
the 90's make the song selection
endless. Dave, who's middle name
should be "guitar," has a style nothing
short of infinite and is able to solo in any
form of music that is played. Mark is the
oldest guy of the group. We don't call
him "pops" although we should. His
rock solid beat and detail to timing
keeps the band on track all the time.
Jeff (Rhythm Guitar / Keyboards) keeps
the groove factor present with his solid
guitar and added keys, and sometimes
both at once! Ken (Bass Guitar) is the
newest, youngest and best looking
member of the band, and as you would
guess currently in charge of the website.
Ken, even though young, has 26+ years
of music. In addition to bass, you might
see him on the drums, saxophone or
anything else not being used at the time.

group. Her Motown influenced voice
and awesome harmonies puts the group
"in the groove" for all of it's classic
Motown songs.
