CHRIS RUPP

Chris was the founder and musical director of the country vocal band Home Free for 15 years, and is now taking his skills and talents to his latest and greatest project, 7th Ave. Chris was born and raised in Mankato, MN and spent his whole life surrounded by music, as his mother is a professional musician as well. He graduated with a degree in music from Minnesota State University – Mankato, and spent the next decade teaching piano, guitar, and voice privately while at the same time working to build Home Free into the sensation that it is today, highlighted by their 2013 Season 4 victory on The Sing-Off. He has collaborated with such artists as Kenny Rogers, The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels, Kira Isabella, Taylor Davis, Peter Hollens, Nick Lachey, Jewel, Patrick Stump, and Shawn Stockman. He also has released his own solo album of original music, Shine, as well as a collection of classical piano pieces.
